Six days of school down, 174 more to go!! So far so good, well other than Peyton who has decided to eat random things at school, hand sanitizer, paint, and glue, are all that he admitted to so far. He is doing well, considering his protest everyday include some sort of "I want to go back to Pre-K". He doesn't want to write, color, use scissors, glue stuff, and all that fun stuff that Kindergarteners do. I think it is because he is left handed, but who knows with that kid.
So now that you know what he doesn't want to do at school here is what he DOES want to do at school. Eat breakfast, eat lunch, go to recess, go to PE, go to music class, ride the bus to and from school. That is what Peyton wants to do, but since there isn't a consistent PE or recess, he is SOL!
Now Elijah, he is LOVING school. He is in the first grade, and he is so happy to see so many of his friends in his class again. He thought he wasn't going to know anyone, but alas he does. We are working sooo hard to get him to where he needs to be, and so far so good. And by we, I mean Elijah and I. He is working incredibly hard, and I am so proud of him, I can not express how proud I am of him.
Elijah took Peyton under his wing at school for about ummmmm a day, and then he told him he was on his own LOL. But today they decided to pinky swear to be best friends for ever and to always have each other's backs. I over heard them doing this and I said "awwwwwwwwwwwwwww" and I got fussed at because "its boy stuff and boy stuff isnt awwwwwww!" from the mouth of babes!
I am shutting up now since American Picker's is almost ending and I really need to get some well needed sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
