I haven't blogged since I started my training. Today marks the last day of the third week of training. We were supposed to go home in the beginning of week five, but they pushed forward and are allowing us to go home starting Monday. Training has three more weeks to go, but they will be done virtually, rather than at the local college.
Which is totally a good thing in my opinion. There were many factors to that training that made it rather stressful, and it got to a lot of people. Things started getting tense, but in a class full of women, things are bound to get dramatic and stressful. So it was clearly in the best interest to send us home for the rest of training so that we can focus on our work in a more comfortable personal atmosphere. I am excited and ready to finish off the rest of my training at home. I will miss some of the people in my class and certainly will miss the craziness of some of the people, but keeping up with all of that was throwing my focus off and doing me no good at all.
So while this training has been going on, I have had a few personal issues going on that attributed to the stress of training and ummmm living lol. Things are starting to look up though, so I am so very very grateful for that. It is going to take about another month for things to get back to normal, but with the job, it should help. Got my first paycheck today, it was nice to see some money, but it was gone as quickly as it came, bills are my first priority.
Other than this training, I haven't been up to much. Been coming home, cooking dinner, putting the kids in the tub and bed, then passing out my own self. I know, a fun life LOL! Weekends, kinda laying low.
A little about my new job: I am working for N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, which is a company that prides themselves on exceptional products and customer service. I will be working for them, troubleshooting for DirecTV. There has been a lot to learn thus far, and a lot more to go. I really like this job, and think that I will excel at it once I get into do it.
