My Lion King(s)

After five years of attempts, my efforts to get the boys to watch The Lion King with me, have finally paid off. I got both of the boys to watch the movie once, and thats all it took for Peyton. He is obsessed with it now and talks about it all the time, so now we are into lions. (Which is a clear needed break from the bug questions. Sharks are still number one). Peyt asks me all the time to snuggle with him and watch the movie. And since it is my favorite cartoon movie, I obliged almost every time. 

He was walking around singing "I Just Cant Wait to be King" it is so cute because he doesn't know half the words, yet he thinks he does. Kids always come up with the oddest lyrics, but that's what they think it is, so be it!
I wanted to take him (Elijah is not interested) to see that Lion King at the theaters today, but the only show is at 12pm and he is in school. I suppose we will go this weekend. I think he would love it. And since I know I wont be the only one singing he cant fuss at me.

They get out of school early today, they will both be delighted to know that I have the soundtrack and that we WILL listen to it repeatedly in the car lol. Not so delighted that I will be singing though. 

Next will be the Broadway show, I have the soundtrack, and am going to find it on DVD, I think they will like it. I know Elijah would kill me if I ever told anyone this, but he likes Broadway songs, and sings them often, when he thinks no one is listening. He is into the Wicked soundtrack right now. I would say the boy has good tastes, but then again he likes Roger Rabbit, and I cant stand that movie. Anyway here is a picture of the Lion King crew LOL
