Advice Anyone!?

Today marks the seventh year that my brother has been at his job, and I am proud of him for it. He is one of the hardest working people I know, and he deserves more credit than he is given. I thought back today to the day that he signed up for school, which lead him to the job he is at now. And I thought back to the time we were in school together, and the business we thought we would own one day! Hey Damion, it is never to late for that ;) As well, I thought of how I miss him and even though we live close to each other we have lost touch. I also thought about the last seven years and the things I have done over that course of time. I thought too of the last six months of my life and how progressive they have been. I thought how a few words said in jist can change people and their lives. I told Damion to go to school, thinking I was helping him for just a little while to get him back on his feet. 

I am SO glad that my half attempt of help and advice did some good. He went to school, got the job he is at now and met a bunch of new people. One of those people changed my life, so it all came in a full circle. One of the booh-koohs of people he knows decided one day to give me what I asked for, the truth- a tell it like it is, no holds bard, spare no punches, asshole induced talking to. What this person said did not sink in for about another month, which was when I literally woke up one day and took one of the things they said to heart and did it. In the middle of the rant I was told (well its the thing I remember of all of it, there was a lot more LOL) to stop complaining about shit and do something about it. When I woke up on my 29th birthday, I said that was the day. I made a mental list of four things that I needed to do, and within five days ALL of them were done.

I told my brother about all of this today, to which he probably already knew about it and who it was but I had to let him know that in some part he and I, both impacted each others lives, and for the best!
