30 Days of What?

I recently saw a friend do a thirty-day song challenge on Facebook. As much fun as that sounds, it is not something I could do. I want the following song played when I die, when I get married, when I have kids, when I become a grandma, when I get walk into a room, hey it CAN be my theme music. (I do not want to have more kids or get married again, but it is nice to think that IF I did, the song can play). It is Beautiful in My Eyes-Joshua Kadison.

The point of this post has less to do with my favorite song, and more to do with doing something for thirty days, so I digress. After the kids went to bed, I sat down to do some writing. I ended up entertaining myself by searching for something my sister and I have been teasing my mom about. Along the search I came across "30 days of a Raw Diet" (Which was totally unrelated to what I was searching for btw) and I wondered how many other things people are doing for thirty days. I saw people who were writing for thirty days, going meatless, posting a picture daily, 30 days of beauty products, answering random questions, watching one movie a day, crafting something once a day, giving stuff up, adding stuff in. Just a whole bunch of different things.

I am such a slacker and procrastinator that I would probably do well for the first two days and then after that I would fall behind. Either I wouldn't have time for it, or I would not remember it.

I am more than certain there is SOMETHING I can do for 30 days that I can remember to do. It might take a few days to gather what it will be, but I have a few good idea's rolling around in my mind!

  1. Write a blog post every day for 30 days? :)
Me? I'd like to give up breads and processed grains for 30 days... I have cut them way down lately. I have learned that tacos are fairly tasty in a lettuce wrap.:)
