Our Adventures Are Ahead of Us!

I need to find something to do with my lil people this weekend. Not sure what to do though, seeing as how I am broke and out of ideas LOL! Was thinking of doing something Becky over at Slacker Mom recommended, a walk on a trail. I think the boys would LOVE that, so we might do that, if the weather permits.

I LOVE being outside and love doing stuff, and walking on a trail is right up my alley.I can tolerate the heat, and dont get bothered by it too terribly much. We shall discover the trail and then we will find somewhere to sit down and grab a bite to eat. Was also thinking of going to the Aquarium, its nothing worth talking about, but I have free tickets. I might just wait till spring break to use them, not sure. The Flint River Aquarium isnt really worth blogging about, but I mentioned it, it should be proud.

I am really enjoying the freedom of being able to do stuff with my kids. While with David, we rarely did much of anything. Now though, I am trying my best to get my monsters to enjoy more than just the street they live on. We are determined to find the best of what Albany has to offer, including the things Albany doesn't realize it has to offer!

I find it necessary to shove some culture into their little brains, because good Lord I do not want them to live in Albany forever! I think kids need to be knowledgeable about their world, not just what is in their city, so we will venture out of this lil area once time and money permits.

I am going to start planning a trip to the mountains soon, as I have never been. I think the boys would enjoy it as well, Peyton more so than Elijah. And of course we have to go to the beach some time soon as well! If it were up to Elijah we would be going to New York City ASAP! He loves that place, despite never having been there!

So my freedom has me wanting to do all of the things I haven't done with the boys. I know there are plenty of things we have missed over the years, but the present is not to late to do stuff! So off we go!
