Progress?? Not Really.

I am currently sitting at my kitchen table with my five year old Kindergartner son. It almost pains me to know that he dislikes to write and read, and would rather focus his live on sciences and maths. Oh how will I survive helping him for the next twelve years of his life? Oh and how will I manage to help my other preschooler when he has to take these "fun" classes?! (Wonderful, he finished his spelling words, there are only two words to explain how I feel about this: THANK GOD!!!!)
So my writing adventure this week has been extremely minimal. It is Tuesday and I have yet to optimize the quietness of my house while the children aka monsters, are in school. I need to put together a small piece of work, to get myself going if I need to present one anywhere for anything. Just in case there is a impromptu end of the world writing shortage happening, I would be covered.
The only writing I did this week was a sad spurt of random things on the magnetic dry erase board that has made a permanent residence on my freezer door. The other writing that left my finger tips was more of keystrokes, in writing a very boring paper on Thoreau's Civil Disobedience. I hate to admit this since I love language so much, but that can bore the fuzz off of a peach. I am sure that some others would not mind writing on such a thing, but that was not what I could wrap my head around at the moment.
So, as one could easily tell, I did very little of what I intended to do. The journey of all this rig-a-marrow, has to start with one simple keystroke.
On the plus side I intend on journal more in an actual journal!!
